If you are a veteran that is already enrolled in VA Healthcare and have a VA-authorized appointment, but need help with transportation to and from your VA healthcare appointment, VetRide (VA's Veteran Transportation Service) may be able to help you. You must make reservations at least one day in advance and a veteran may be accompanied by one caregiver, spouse or family member. Your VA facility must set up an account with VetRide for you in order to use this service and transportation is provided to the veteran free of charge or at very little cost. The VetRide service also has a mobile app that works with Apple or Android mobiles devices.
